Just found your blog, loving it.
ReplyDeleteI found out a new way of keeping these going longer. It takes a bit of effort and I think it works better if you buy organic green onions to begin with. But I have been keeping them by the sink in a vase with water and they continue to grow. The water needs to be changed daily, and you have to take off the oldest leaves first to use. But here it is the 22nd of the month and I still have nice fresh green onions on my windowsill in the kitchen!
